Fire Services Emergency Lines Temporarily Down

FIRE SERVICES EMERGENCY LINES TEMPORARILY DOWN

EThekwini Municipality advises the public that a network fault has disrupted the Fire Services emergency lines, making the usual contact numbers temporarily unavailable. 

This technical issue has affected the Municipality’s Fire Services ability to receive calls through the standard channels.

The Municipality’s IT technicians are working tirelessly around the clock to resolve the problem and restore full functionality as quickly as possible. 

In the meantime, the City has activated alternative interim numbers to ensure that emergency response remains uninterrupted. 

Members of the public are urged to use the following numbers for fire-related emergencies until further notice: 076 223 2224 or 063 603 5775

The Municipality sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this period. 

The safety and well-being of our residents and visitors remain the Municipality’s top priority, and we are fully committed to restoring services swiftly and efficiently.
