21 Beaches Open: Country Club And Reunion Beaches Temporarily Closed

 21 BEACHES OPEN: COUNTRY CLUB AND REUNION BEACHES TEMPORARILY CLOSED

EThekwini Municipality advises the public that 21 beaches across the City remain open and safe for swimming and recreational activities.  

Only Country Club and Reunion Beaches have been temporarily closed, as a precautionary measure, due to water quality concerns.

The closure is necessary to safeguard public health and will remain in place until water quality improves. All other beaches are unaffected and will continue to welcome visitors.

Beach water quality samples are taken weekly, and results are shared with the public as soon as they become available.
