The Municipality is calling on companies with green technology, water and energy saving devices, innovative recycling solutions, and other products to register to participate in the fourth annual Sustainable Living Exhibition taking place from 6 – 8 September 2013 at the Durban Exhibition Centre.
Last year approximately 300 exhibitors participated for the exhibition which showcases ways in which to live a greener lifestyle.

“It’s imperative that we adopt and move towards a sustainable lifestyle that attempts to reduce our use of natural resources and subsequently reducing our carbon footprint. The exhibition focuses on various initiatives including planting your own food garden which can sustain a family at little cost, said Bongumusa Zondo, Senior Manager at Imagine Durban.

Zondo added that communities have to act now to save the environment and live more sustainably and that this Exhibition will help educate and promote ways in which we can do just that. The Exhibition provides a fantastic environment for sharing of ideas, peer learning, networking whilst demonstrating a possibility for everyone to contribute towards building a more liveable, caring and sustainable community.

So, if you are passionate about living healthy and saving the environment, this is an ideal platform for you to showcase your efforts. Exhibitors can sell, network, and showcase their products.

“Building a more Sustainable City is a collective responsibility of all citizens. The Exhibition is therefore open to all sectors of society, namely business, non-profit organisations, government, state owned enterprises, schools and individuals to showcase their initiatives,” said Zondo.

Pre registration closes on 30 May and stands are limited!
