EThekwini’s New Online Recruitment Going Live 23 August 2013
EThekwini Recruitment Service
EThekwini has revolutionised the recruitment landscape for both employers and job seekers and largely increasing the efficiency with which hiring decisions can take place. There has been a paradigm shift in the way this Municipality will recruit thanks to the value, efficacy and ease-of-use of the new online e-Career site, ensuring that when it comes to professional mobility and the quest for top talent eThekwini is at the forefront of recruitment.

Completing an application form for a potential job opportunity is fast becoming something of the past. Not only is it a tedious process to repeatedly complete the application form, printing endless copies of your resume and accompanying documents can fast become a costly affair.

The introduction of our new online recruitment application system will see the end of this exhaustive method by making applications for vacancies as simple as ‘a click away’.

On line recruitment will not only provide applicants with the convenience of viewing and applying for multiple vacancies without having to leave their work stations, it will also give you the assurance of an instant confirmation receipt. That’s right!.... Your application submission will now be automatically acknowledged through an e-mail notification to your e-mail inbox.

The first set of vacancies to be published online on the 23 August 2013 will no doubt be a notch in eThekwini’s cap as the first Local Government institute to introduce such a system. All employees within the Municipality are welcome to submit their applications by accessing e-CAREERS through our website.

So say goodbye to long queues’ and piles of paper as you join in on this paperless adventure!
