Water Supply Restored to Affected Areas

The water supply to most affected areas in the Durban South has been restored.

Repairs to the burst pipeline which interrupted the water supply to Chatsworth and surrounding areas, have been completed.

Most of the affected areas are now receiving a normal supply of water. However, a few areas are still affected as reservoirs are still being filled with water. These areas are expected to receive a normal water supply later today.

Water tankers will be dispatched to these areas until their water supply is restored.

The City would like to thank the public for their patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused during the repairing of the burst pipeline.
