Urgent Warning: Thunderstorms Expected
 
The South African Weather Service has issued a warning regarding thunderstorms that are expected over the western and south-western parts of KwaZulu-Natal, today, 1 December 2017.
 
Areas that might be affected include Amajuba, uThukela, uMzinyathi, Harry Gwala, eThekwini, iLembe, King Cetshwayo, Ugu, uMgungundlovu, Zululand and uMkhanyakude. However, there is a high likelihood of others areas being affected
 
The storm could also be accompanied with potentially strong wind gusts and heavy downpours which may lead to pooling of water on roads and hazardous driving conditions. Informal structures may be subjected to wind damage.
 
Residents are requested to please only call the Disaster Management Call Centre for emergencies on 031 361 0000.
