Teaching swimming skills through Save-A-Life Campaign

As part of the Municipality’s mandate to promote sports development, the Parks, Recreation and Culture Unit will host a Save-A-Life Campaign.

The campaign seeks to educate young children about essential swimming skills. Through demonstrations and talks, children will learn about first aid techniques such as cardio pulmonary resuscitation, expired air resuscitation and more.

The aim of the Save-A-Life Campaign is to promote a healthy lifestyle through swimming, promote maximum usage of the Municipality’s recreational facilities, encourage social cohesion and create an opportunity for career development.
