Sponsorships for Durban performers going to the National Arts Festival

EThekwini Municipality’s Arts and Living Cultures Department is offering sponsorship to performers who will be participating in the National Arts Festival 2018 scheduled to take place in Grahamstown from 28 June to 08 July.

Interested groups and individuals from eThekwini Municipality are invited to apply for travel and marketing support. All genres are welcome to apply.

The application process is open to groups and individuals who have already registered and have been approved to perform at the festival.

In order to be considered, participants need to submit a comprehensive motivation – including their approval reference number from the National Arts Festival organisers, confirmed performance dates, times and designated performance venue, as well as a detailed proposal about the production to be staged. Also include information about the production company, history and experience. A letter or letters of reference and support material about the individual/company’s previous work would be an advantage.

Note that support will be given in accordance with eThekwini Municipality’s Supply Chain Management Policy.

Applications must be hand delivered to: EML, 99 Umngeni Road, Durban, before Friday, 11 May 2018, 4pm.
