Reservoir Hills Library to be Closed Temporarily

The Reservoir Hills Library will be temporarily closed from 20 October to 01 December 2017 due to preparations for the relocation of the library to the new premises situated at the Reservoir Hills Shopping Mall.

During this period library users are requested to use the nearest libraries such as Westville North Library, Clermont and New Germany Library to access library services.

Libraries play a vital role in providing an educational and cultural resource in communities. The community of Reservoir Hills will be receiving an updated and relevant new library space as the City moves forward with service delivery.

The new premises is close to all schools, informal settlements, the University of KwaZulu-Natal Westville Campus and a majority of residents.

It is also along the main transport route. Other advantages is mall security lending their services, adequate parking for staff and the public and the space is large enough to accommodate a study area, cyber zones, staff room, work room, store room and librarians office.

The Municipality apologises to all library users for the inconvenience caused.
