EThekwini Is Ready For the 20th Durban Business Fair Celebration
EThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede will on Friday, 4 May officially launch the 20th Durban Business Fair (DBF), an event which has become a fixture in the City over the past two decades serving as a comprehensive national exhibition that showcases and markets business products for locals.
Members of the media are cordially invited to attend this historic milestone, where Mayor Gumede will unpack the journey travelled and successes achieved over the past two decades of the DBF. The event is being held at the Durban City Hall, Church Walk from 12pm to 6pm.
This year’s DBF is iconic as the Fair commemorates 20 years of creating a platform for local businesses through the meaningful participation of corporates, international sister cities, government as well as other sectors.
Mayor Gumede urged members of the media, business community and the public to come out in their numbers to celebrate with the City.
“We are celebrating the positive impact the DBF has had in attracting quality buyers from across Africa as well as developing and sustaining local businesses,” she said.
The launch will be celebrated in style with a street market format featuring 20 pop-up shops offering the best of Durban’s craft speciality items including a wide variety of food. Furthermore, there will be fashion and style exhibitors on display as well as an art corner. There will also be offerings for music lovers as well as many other activities.
