EThekwini Commemorates The Legacy Of Harry Gwala

As the country commemorates 20 years since the passing of one of the iconic South African Communist Party and African National Congress apartheid struggle stalwart, Harry Gwala, the eThekwini Municipality will honour his legacy with a commemoration lecture to be delivered on 02 September 2015.

The lecture will be delivered by George Mashamba, a hero of the revolution and former Robben Island prisoner. It will reflect on the political, social and economic ideals and philosophy that the late Harry Gwala advocated throughout his life with the view of building our nation.

The aim is to create an equal society, in order to ensure peace, co-existence, tolerance and unity in the City and South Africa.
