Durban Beaches To Be Closed Over The Weekend

Due to expected high winds and seas, as reported by South African Weather forecasting stations the majority of Durban beaches will be closed today 30/10/2015 and on Saturday, 31/10/2015.

As a preventative measure to minimise the loss, damage or the potential threat of dislodged equipment becoming a public endangerment, a decision has been reached by the Boards Operations Department to remove shark safety gear.

The City apologises for any inconvenience caused.
