City to Host Prayer Meeting for Matric Students and those Affected by the Recent Storms
 
As the final year exams for the 2017 matric students fast approaches, eThekwini Municipality will hold a prayer session aimed at giving students words of encouragement and strength before they sit for one of the most important exams of their lives.
 
The session will also be used to pray for the residents of Durban as the city was recently hit by a massive storm that left a trail of destruction resulting in damage to infrastructure and loss of lives.
 
Led by Mayor Zandile Gumede, matric students, teachers, religious leaders and community members will converge at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, People’s Park to praise, worship and receive spiritual upliftment from the various speakers line-up. Religious leaders will take turns in passing word of encouragement to the students and community at large.
 
All residents of eThekwini and members of the media are invited to be part of prayer session.
