City Hosts Student Water and Sanitation Conference

Ahead of the National Water Week, the eThekwini Municipality is hosting the Water and Sanitation Student Conference on Thursday, 3 March 2016, which will see more than 170 schools from the eThekwini Municipal area attending. 

During the conference, different schools will be presenting models, delivering presentations and debating on water scarcity and water conservation issues.

The City has put in significant resources to drive drought awareness campaigns, calling for the public to support the water saving measures implemented by the City. 

The Conference seeks to involve the youth in collectively devising strategies to better address water challenges facing South Africa.

Members of the media are invited to attend the Conference scheduled to take place as follows:
